Welding and joining, matched to the assembly.
We manage in-die operations and high-volume production as one continuous system, matching the joining method to the assembly, robotic GMAW welding, resistance welding, or projection welding, so a component moves from stamped part to finished assembly without losing accuracy along the way. Special-purpose pneumatic weld jigs are used to control cost on repeat assemblies. Automated welding also delivers real, general advantages over manual welding, improved metal penetration from superior mechanical precision, better torch tractability and manoeuvrability, and a stronger finished assembly at lower cost per part.

This fuel filler assembly was a genuinely bespoke, one-of-a-kind program, and Harrington was the only manufacturer with the capability to deliver it. The program ran for two years, start to finish.
