Harrington Industries is at the forefront of metal stamping technology.

Harrington Industries has a long history of quality workmanship; since our company's inception in 1919, we have approached every project with the same level of innovation, commitment and ingenuity.

We produced Australia’s first metal stamped single car door, and were involved in designing and manufacturing over 14,000 Olympic Torches for the 2000 Olympic Games in Sydney.

Combining Expertise and Equipment

Our 7,000 square metre facility is equipped with a modern toolroom which houses state-of-the-art technology.

All of the tools in our toolroom are designed, and maintained by our talented team of toolmakers who have many years of experience in creating transfer and progressive tooling. The latest CNC equipment is utilised to produce precise stamping tools.

  • Our experienced staff uses the latest CAM software to generate all machining programs used in the toolroom.
  • Our toolroom also enables us to carry out R&D on tooling for new products and processes.
  • The toolroom operates over 2 shifts each day so it can fully support the tooling maintenance requirements of manufacturing.
  • Harrington Industries also has close associations with overseas toolmakers enabling us to complete large tooling project on time.
  • Our Padstow facility is also equipped with over 60 machine presses, some of these are:
    • 2 x 600 tonne Seyi transfer/progressive presses (3.5 metre x 1.5 metre bed area)
    • 1 x 600 tonne Bliss blanking/deep drawing press
    • 1 x 5 stage Seyi transfer press line (3 x 250 tonne & 2 x 200 tonne presses with 2 turnover units)
    • 1 x 9 stage Seyi transfer press line (3 x 250 tonne & 6 x 200 tonne MPs with 4 turnover units)
    • 2 x 450 tonne Craig & Donald blanking/drawing presses
    • 4 x 300 tonne blanking/deep drawing presses
    • 1 x 300 tonne Bliss blanking press
    • 2 x 250 tonne Seyi transfer/progressive presses
